A meeting room in Raffles Place puts your client in Singapore's most recognised business address — and our private rooms at 6 Raffles Quay sit right in that core, bookable by the hour, half-day or full day, about a five-minute sheltered walk from Raffles Place MRT.

Raffles Place is where the banks, law firms, and wealth managers are. When a meeting carries reputational or financial weight, holding it here does part of the work before anyone sits down: your guest recognises the address, arrives easily, and reads the setting as a business that plans ahead.

Why Book a Meeting Room in Raffles Place

The Address Sets the Tone

For a pitch, a fee negotiation, or a first meeting with an institutional client, the venue is part of the message.
A private, quiet room in the financial core signals stability in a way a café table never will — and it removes the small indignities of a public venue: no hunting for seats, no shouting over the espresso machine, no confidential detail carrying to the next table.

For Firms Whose Own Office Can't Host

Plenty of Raffles Place teams work from floors with no spare boardroom, or from home, or between regional trips.
Booking a room only when you need one is far cheaper than carrying meeting space year-round — as one member put it, owning a large meeting room turned out to be wasted space, because meetings don't happen all the time.

Meeting Rooms Near Raffles Place MRT

6 Raffles Quay is about a five-minute sheltered walk from Raffles Place MRT (Exit I), with Downtown MRT (Exit A) and taxi stand E16 close by. Your guests arrive on time and dry, whatever the weather — a small thing that matters when you've got stakeholders converging from three different offices.

Two Rooms, Sized to the Meeting

Meeting Room A — Board Sessions for Up to Eight

Modern coworking space with a large screen and meeting table.
Board-style discussions, client presentations with several stakeholders, quarterly planning, AGMs.
A large TV screen keeps everyone reading the same slide, and we keep adapters on hand — including USB-C to HDMI — so the first ten minutes aren't spent hunting for a cable.

Meeting Room B — Interviews and Small Negotiations

Modern coworking meeting room with a large screen and black chairs.
Tighter and more discreet, which is exactly the point. Interviews with senior candidates, partner negotiations, a sensitive client update.
For satellite teams and visiting directors, Room B gives you the headquarters feel without the headquarters commitment.

Need more than eight? Our event space and seminar room handle larger briefings and workshops. Full room details are on our meeting rooms at 6 Raffles Quay page.

Where Else Can You Meet in Raffles Place?

If it's a casual catch-up, the district is full of options — Starbucks at Singapore Land Tower (50 Raffles Place #01-02B) is the nearest work-friendly café, and the hotel lobbies around the core work for a quick coffee. They're fine for an informal chat.

They stop working the moment the conversation matters.

You can't control the noise, you can't put slides on a screen, you can't discuss fees or a hiring decision without wondering who's listening, and there's no reception to greet a client who arrives early. For anything with money, confidentiality, or a first impression attached, a private room is the cheaper mistake to avoid — a point we unpack in our piece on why meeting rooms and quiet zones matter.

Is there a meeting room for rent near Raffles Place MRT?

How many people do your Raffles Place meeting rooms hold?

Meeting Room A seats up to eight; Meeting Room B seats three to four. For larger groups, our seminar and event space accommodates roughly 3 to 20+ depending on layout.

Can I book a meeting room by the hour in Raffles Place?

Yes. Bookings are available hourly, half-day, or full-day, so you only pay for the time you need. Enquire for a quote.

How do I book, and how far in advance?

Book by sending us a WhatsApp at +65 6011 1216 or by emailing support@coworkspace.com.sg. Same-day bookings are sometimes possible, but peak weekday slots go quickly, so book ahead where you can.

Do you have to be a member to book a meeting room?

No. Our meeting rooms can be booked by non-members as well as by our serviced office and coworking members — get in touch and we'll confirm availability.

Is a meeting room better than meeting a client in a café?

For anything sensitive or high-stakes, yes. A private room removes noise and interruptions, keeps confidential discussion confidential, and gives a more composed impression — plus reception greets your guest properly.

What AV and presentation equipment is provided?

Reliable business-grade WiFi and presentation options, with a large TV screen in Room A and adapters available. If you need a specific video-conferencing setup, tell us in advance so we can prepare it.

Can you receive catering for our meeting?

Yes. Reception can accept catering deliveries on your behalf and hold them until your session, and we have coffee and refreshments on site.

Are the rooms suitable for interviews or confidential discussions?

Very much so. Room B was designed for exactly that — interviews, negotiations, and sensitive conversations where focus and discretion matter.

Can I hold a meeting outside office hours?

Reception is staffed 8.30am to 6pm, with 24/7 access to the premises. If your session runs early or late, mention it when booking so we can arrange access. Note air-conditioning follows building hours.

Is there a minimum booking for a Raffles Place meeting room?

One hour. There is no two-hour block or half-day minimum, so a short client meeting costs you exactly one hour.

Do you charge a deposit or a cancellation fee?

There is no deposit on bookings of two hours or less, and no cancellation fee at any length. Short bookings are settled after the meeting, so nothing is paid upfront. Sessions longer than two hours are prepaid, and while rescheduling is free, prepayments are not refunded if you cancel outright.
